Currently, we’re featuring volunteer opportunities for the Atlanta area only, but we’d love to get other cities involved. Contact us if your organization would like to be featured on this page! You can also sign up to volunteer to maintain this website and support other Planeteer activities.


The Captain Planet Foundation was one of the first projects to spawn from of the success of the Captain Planet TV show. The CPF makes tons of fun events happen year-round to raise awareness for the environment. They will match their opportunities to your skills so that each volunteer or intern’s experience is a rewarding one. What are you waiting for?

Join other Atlanta residents in restoring the urban landscape through tree planting activities and forest preservation education. Every Saturday morning, Atlanta residents plant trees together in this fun program. One afternoon’s work will be appreciated by the city for years to come!

If you enjoy the great outdoors, the Upper Chattahoochee Riverkeeper program can get you involved with the great cause of keeping our rivers clean. They offer activities ranging from festival help to river clean-up!

The Chattahoochee Nature Center is a great source of knowledge, nature, and fun! This organization hosts lots of special events, summer camps, and is home to several great trails and gardens.
